About the Vacancies
The Maharashtra Government Rural Development Department invites applications for several positions in different departments. Here are the details:
Post: Pharmacist
Number of Posts: 9
Pay Scale: S-10 (29200-92300)
Qualifications
- Candidates should hold a Degree or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Candidates must be registered Pharmacists under the School of Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Experience
- Candidates must provide a certificate of experience during the verification of original documents. The certificate should include details of the qualification and administrative duties performed, along with experience relevant to the appointment.
- Candidates should adhere to the experience requirements as prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra, General Administration Department Circular No. SR-2004/P.No.10/04/12, dated 03/07/2004.
Age Limit
- A relaxation of two years in the maximum age limit for government service appointments has been provided by the Government of Maharashtra, General 2023/P.No.14/Works/12, dated 03 March 2023, valid until 31st December 2023.
- A relaxation of two years (40 years for open category and 45 years for backward category) in the maximum age limit prescribed in the Government Decision dated 25 April 2016 has been given, valid until 31st December 2023.
- The relaxation in the maximum age limit is applicable only until 31st December 2023.
General Instructions
- Candidates are advised not to apply to multiple Zilla Parishads for the same post to avoid unnecessary expenditure on application fees.
- The admit card for the online examination will be prepared through a computerized system. If a candidate applies to multiple Zilla Parishads for the same cadre and receives the same exam number at another place, the Zilla Parishad will not be responsible for any discrepancies.
Examination Fee
- Open category candidates: Rs. 1000/-
- Backward Category candidates: Rs. 900/-
- Orphan candidates: Rs. 900/-
- Ex-Servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Exempted from examination fee.
- Examination fee will be accepted only through online mode.
