This remote-based role is designed for professionals interested in medical information services and pharmacovigilance. Ideal candidates are equipped with strong verbal reasoning, customer interaction, and scientific communication skills.
Role Highlights & Responsibilities
Core Functions
- Respond to unsolicited medical and safety information inquiries from healthcare professionals, consumers, and other stakeholders
- Provide medically accurate responses using company-provided sources, standard documents, and product literature
- Accurately identify, report, and document adverse events, product complaints, and special situation cases per regulations
- Utilize inquiry handling systems to track all interactions in real time
- Ensure adherence to ProPharma SOPs, client guidelines, and regulatory standards
Additional Tasks
- Support after-hours query coverage on a rotational basis
- Assist with writing custom medical information letters and FAQs
- Perform internal quality assurance and proofreading of logged reports
- Maintain data privacy compliance and participate in health and safety protocols
Qualifications & Required Skills
Education:
- Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm), Clinical Research, or Nursing (RN/BS/MS)
Preferred Experience:
- 0–2 years in medical writing, pharmacovigilance, or drug safety (freshers with relevant knowledge may apply)
- Familiarity with medical terminology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology
- Strong analytical, reasoning, and documentation skills
Technical Proficiency:
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and database systems
- Ability to learn and work with medical inquiry handling platforms
