Job Description:

As an Associate Sr. Research Scientist or Senior Research Scientist at Eurofins Advinus, you will play a crucial role in advancing scientific research and discovery. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. In Vitro Assay Development: You will be actively involved in designing and executing in vitro assays for both small and large-molecule biochemical screening services. This entails identifying and optimizing the right assay formats for both low and high-throughput screening. Additionally, you will be responsible for validating the assays using pharmacological tools.
2. Cell-Based Assays: You will develop cell-based assays and conceptualize novel assays to establish the Mechanism of Action (MoA). This involves conducting cellular experiments to obtain readouts such as ELISA, Western blot/IP assays, and flow cytometry.
3. Mammalian Cell Culture: You will perform mammalian cell culture techniques, including the isolation of immune cell subsets and the development of cell-based immunological assays using primary rodent and human immune cells.
4. Data Quality and Interpretation: You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of data quality and integrity. Additionally, you will be accountable for interpreting results and generating comprehensive reports.
5. Reporting and Collaboration: Your role will involve the analysis of raw data, interpretation of results, and reporting in a timely manner. You will also prepare slides and presentations for external collaborators to facilitate effective communication.
