Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Fresher Medical Coder, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate medical coding practices in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform coding activities using ICD-10-CM and CPT guidelines
• Ensure compliance with payer-specific rules and CMS guidelines
• Maintain accuracy while coding patient charts
• Support the revenue cycle management process by ensuring quality documentation
• Work in coordination with team leads to achieve daily productivity and accuracy benchmarks

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Education: Any Life Science graduate or equivalent background
• Certification (mandatory): AAPC or AHIMA Certification (CPC/CCA/CCS/COC/CRC)
• Experience: Freshers welcome (0 years)
• Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Familiarity with coding guidelines (ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS)
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance orientation

Relevant courses: Health Information Management, Medical Coding, Anatomy & Physiology, Clinical Research, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry.
