Job Role & Responsibilities

Alembic is hiring for multiple positions in API, OSD, and Injectable manufacturing units. Candidates with relevant educational backgrounds and industry experience are invited to apply.

1. Junior Executive / Executive – Production (API)

• Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech (Chemical Engineering), M.Sc, B.Sc
• Experience: 1–5 years
• Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture products as per cGMP standards
  • Handle equipment: reactor, centrifuge, blender, sifter, multi-mill
  • Maintain regulatory documentation (change control, deviations)
  • Identify technical problems, take corrective actions, and ensure safety compliance

2. Technical Officer / Junior Executive / Executive – Production & Packing (OSD)

• Eligibility: M.Pharm, B.Pharm, DME, ITI
• Experience: 2–7 years

Production Role:

• Manage granulation, compression, coating, pelletization, capsule filling
• Ensure documentation compliance

Packing Role:

• Manage blister packing, bulk/bottle packing
• Handle Track & Trace, serialization, and documentation

3. Technical Officer / Junior Executive / Executive – Production (Injectables)

• Eligibility: M.Pharm, B.Pharm, Diploma, ITI
• Experience: 2–7 years
• Responsibilities:
  • Exposure to aseptic practices and GDP is mandatory
  • Operate Fedegari autoclaves, isolators, lyophilizers, vial washing, vial filling (ophthalmic/PFS), aseptic filtration, FFS systems
  • Manage solution prep systems (operation, cleaning, sterilization, qualification, maintenance)
  • Handle microsphere refiner and active freeze-drying systems

• Educational Backgrounds Accepted:
  • B.E/B.Tech (Chemical Engineering)
  • M.Sc, B.Sc (Chemistry/Pharma Sciences)
  • M.Pharm, B.Pharm

• Experience: 1–7 years in pharma production, packing, or injectables
• Preferred: Exposure to regulatory requirements (cGMP, GLP) in regulated plants

Relevant courses: Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Quality Assurance.
