Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Medical Coder – HCC Specialty, you will play a key role in risk adjustment coding and healthcare reimbursement accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform HCC coding and risk adjustment using ICD-10-CM guidelines
• Review patient charts and abstract accurate diagnoses
• Apply CMS HCC Hierarchies and RAF score calculation
• Maintain compliance with coding regulations and payer-specific guidelines
• Ensure coding quality through detailed chart reviews
• Work effectively with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and reporting
• Maintain coding productivity and quality benchmarks set by the company

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Education: Any graduate with medical coding background
• Certification (mandatory): CPC, CCS, CRC, or COC (one required)
• Experience: 1–3 years in HCC medical coding
• Skills Required:
