Key Skills:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Applying appropriate codes from specific dictionaries to Case Report Form (CRF) terms that require manual coding (e.g., adverse events, medications/procedures, and medical conditions/history).
- Ensuring accurate and consistent application of coding conventions to Case Report Form terms in accordance with all applicable procedures.
- Reviewing all coded terms within the clinical database for accuracy and consistency and addressing coding discrepancies or inconsistencies.
- Generating data queries when necessary to resolve coding discrepancies.
- Maintaining coding documentation within project files.
- Developing, reviewing, and updating Data Management Coding Study Specific Procedures when applicable.
- Generating and reviewing status reports and metrics as appropriate and providing feedback into the development of coding timelines.
