About Somany College of Pharmacy

The Somany College of Pharmacy, approved by AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India, and affiliated with HSBTE, was founded under the aegis of Swantantrata Senani R.D. Somany. With a commitment to providing quality education in the field of Pharmacy, the college aims to produce skilled pharmacists who contribute meaningfully to society.

Available Positions and Specializations

• Principal: The college is seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to take on the role of Principal. Someone who can lead and guide the institution to new heights of excellence.
• Assistant Professor: The college is looking for dedicated individuals with specializations in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Pharmacognosy to join as Assistant Professors. Successful candidates will be instrumental in imparting knowledge and nurturing the next generation of pharmacists.
• Lab Attendant: The role of a Lab Attendant is crucial to the smooth functioning of the labs and practical sessions. It requires a responsible individual who ensures the labs are well-prepared and assists students during practical exercises.

Candidate Profile

Candidates with the following attributes will be preferred:

• Principal and Assistant Professor Roles:
  • Ability to contribute effectively to R&D and consultancy projects.
  • Aptitude for promoting patents, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Industry Interaction, and value-added courses.
  • Innovative mindset to enhance the learning experience for students.
• Lab Attendant:
  • Diligent and responsible approach to lab setup and assistance.
  • Ensuring a conducive environment for practical sessions.

Remuneration

Pay scale will be as per norms and based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
