Role Overview: Drug Safety Physician

Key Responsibilities

• Review and medically assess adverse event reports, ensuring accuracy of seriousness, expectedness, listedness, and relatedness.
• Evaluate coding of events using MedDRA and ensure proper classification of Adverse Events (AEs) and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs).
• Contribute to the preparation of aggregated safety reports such as PSURs, ASRs, and IND Annual Reports.
• Provide pharmacovigilance consultancy to clients, including input on Core Safety Information (CSI), Company Core Data Sheets (CCDS), and expedited regulatory reporting.
• Support regulatory compliance by offering training and guidance to safety personnel.
• Participate in the review and development of Project Specific Procedures and support code-break activities.
• Collaborate directly with clients and internal project teams.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Education: MBBS or MD from a recognized medical institution.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hospital-based clinical experience; experience in pharmacovigilance or clinical research is a plus.
• Strong understanding of ICH-GCP, pharmacovigilance regulations, and clinical safety standards.
• Excellent communication and medical assessment skills.
