Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Research Associate in Antibody Engineering, you will:
- Perform DNA and RNA extraction for experimental workflows.
- Conduct advanced PCR techniques including inverse PCR, touchdown/up, gradient PCR, long amplicons, TaqMan assays, real-time PCR, and gel electrophoresis.
- Prepare ultra-competent cells and carry out transformations using both chemical and electroporation methods.
- Apply cloning methods such as subcloning, Gibson assembly, Golden Gate, Gateway, and In-Fusion cloning.
- Generate reliable, high-quality experimental data and ensure timely updates in Lab Notebooks (LNB) and databases.
- Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental systems and processes.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Education: M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 2–6 years of relevant research experience in molecular biology and antibody engineering.
- Proficiency in PCR, cloning techniques, and cell transformation methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Job Location: Bangalore, Karnataka.
