    Established in 1970, Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI) Gwalior is actively engaged in research with a focused mandate on Human Resource Development Activities and Ayurveda Drug Development. The Institute’s out-patient department serves the primary health needs of patients with various illnesses, with registered patients participating in research programs. The Institute features a 25-bedded In-patient Department and a well-equipped laboratory for biochemical and pathological investigations.

    A Walk-in-Interview for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a contractual basis for the following projects will be held at Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Gwalior.

    Project 1: “Development of SoP & Quality Control parameters and shelf-life studies of Ayush RP. Ayush AG & Ayush GG formulations” Project Duration: 3 years

    Project 2: “In-Silico study of Botanicals (Rudraksha, Gorakhmundi, Jyotishmati, Petha, Vacha, Gumbhari, and Shatavari) used in Ayurveda for neurocognitive enhancement.” Project Duration: 3 years Department / Section: Chemistry

    Essential Qualification:
    M.Sc. (Chemistry) or MSc. (Biotechnology) or M.Sc. (Microbiology) or M.Pharma (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) or equivalent from a recognized University / Institution.

    Age: Not exceeding 35 years as of January 1, 2023

    Remuneration: Rs.31,000 + 18% HRA

    Desirable:
    Preference will be given to candidates with theoretical and experimental exposure in ASU&H drug analysis & bioinformatics, including practical knowledge of Molecular docking, simulation, ADMET parameters, Network Pharmacological analysis, etc. Additionally, having experimental knowledge of Phytochemical analysis, including handling instruments like FTIR / HPTLC / HPLC / LC-MS / GC-MS / AAS. Skill in drafting and editing scientific documents/articles/technical reports, publication in peer-reviewed journals, and working knowledge of computers.

    General Terms and Conditions:

    1. The engagement is purely contractual and will co-terminate with the project; no claims for regular appointments will be entertained.
    2. Candidates should bring original documents along with photocopies during the Interview.
    3. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
    4. No TA / DA will be provided for attending the Interview.
