About the Role: Medical Writer at WNS

WNS is seeking a skilled Medical Writer who has hands-on expertise in crafting scientific manuscripts, systematic literature reviews, and other high-quality deliverables targeted for peer-reviewed journals and global submissions.

This is a full-time onsite opportunity based in Gurgaon, ideal for candidates who want to contribute to real-world pharma research communications while working in a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Author, edit, and revise scientific manuscripts and SLRs aligned with global pharmaceutical standards

• Prepare content for peer-reviewed journals, scientific posters, abstracts, and presentations

• Analyze clinical and real-world data to generate insights for publishing

• Conduct in-depth literature reviews and maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic areas

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional medical, regulatory, and publication teams

Required Educational Qualifications

Candidates applying for this role must have a postgraduate or doctoral degree in relevant disciplines. Acceptable educational qualifications include:

Education:

• M.Pharm / Master of Pharmacy

• PhD in Life Sciences / Pharmacology / Pharmacy / Biomedical Sciences

These qualifications ensure the candidate has a robust scientific understanding required to draft accurate, evidence-based documents for regulatory and publication purposes.

Experience Required

• Minimum: 1 year

• Maximum: 5 years

• Relevant experience in medical writing, preferably in the pharma domain

• Proven track record in scientific publication writing, especially manuscripts and SLRs

• Familiarity with publication guidelines (ICMJE, GPP3) and writing tools like EndNote, Zotero, Mendeley, etc.
