Position Overview: Literature Specialist-Intern
Location: Bengaluru, India
Job Type: Full-Time (Internship)
Department: Science and Technology
Experience Required: 0 to 2 years
Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Perform PV (pharmacovigilance) literature surveillance in compliance with regulatory standards
- Screen and review medical literature for individual case safety reports (ICSR) and signal detection
- Triage literature data to identify articles with relevant safety information for GSK’s drug portfolio
- Work closely with SERM product specialists and global safety teams
- Ensure timely delivery of accurate scientific findings
Required Skills:
- Strong written and verbal English communication, especially in scientific/medical terms
- Good analytical skills to assess and interpret scientific literature
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations is an advantage
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using web-based platforms
