Job Description: Unraveling the Role
Role: As a Project Associate-I, you will play a pivotal role in the project titled “Development of Bioelectronic Sensor Technology Coupled with High-Throughput Metabolomics for Quality Control of Jatamansi.”

We are seeking candidates with experience in Analytical Tools, Chromatographic & Spectroscopic Techniques, and expertise in the isolation and characterization of natural molecules from Medicinal & Aromatic Plants.

- Candidates reporting for the interview after 10:00 AM will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
- Candidates may find detailed information on the official CSIR-IHBT website www.ihbt.res.in. Application forms, along with self-attested photocopies of age, educational qualifications, and experience, should be submitted at the time of the interview.
- Eligible candidates must appear for the “Walk-in-Interview(s)” as per the schedule provided, bringing an application in the prescribed format, along with original certificates of testimonials.
- If any candidate applies for more than one position code, separate application forms must be submitted for each position.
- Candidates should ensure they bring self-attested copies of essential certificates, or their applications may not be accepted.
- No Traveling Allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
- The Selection Committee(s) may adopt the selection criterion at its own discretion, either by conducting a direct interview or an objective test followed by an interview on the same day.
- The number of selected candidates may vary from the advertised positions depending on the candidates’ performance during the selection process.
- The tenure of Project Staff is co-terminus with the project, and there is no implicit or explicit right for regular positions.
- The decision of the Director, CSIR-IHBT, Palampur, shall be final on any matter related to the engagement of the mentioned positions.
- The Competent Authority reserves the right to relax any provision contained in this advertisement on reasonable grounds.
- The performance of Project Staff will be reviewed every six months, and any staff not meeting expectations may be terminated.
- Requests for online interviews will not be entertained.
- Candidates are advised to follow all guidelines/instructions issued by the Government to contain the spread of COVID-19.
- In case of any dispute, the English version of instructions will prevail.
