Job Overview

Position: Certified Medical Coder – Fresher

Department: Health Information Management / Medical Coding

Location: Thousand Lights, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Job Type: Full-time, Work from Office

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Required Educational Background

Only candidates who have completed certifications from AAPC or AHIMA, such as:

• CPC (Certified Professional Coder)
• CCS (Certified Coding Specialist)
• Other equivalent coding certifications

are eligible to apply for this position. Graduates from Life Science or Medical Science streams are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes
• Ensure adherence to coding guidelines and compliance standards
• Collaborate with clinical teams and senior coders for quality assurance
• Maintain confidentiality and data protection as per HIPAA regulations
