Current Opening: Research Scientist / Sr. Research Scientist – API R&D

Key Responsibilities

Conduct organic synthesis experiments for developing and optimizing API routes and parameters.
Design experiments to scale-up synthesis from lab to pilot plant, implementing Quality by Design (QbD) principles.
Analyze and interpret data to recommend process improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with process development, analytical, and manufacturing teams.
Maintain records as per GLP standards and regulatory requirements.
Support continuous yield enhancement, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
Involve in impurity synthesis and structure confirmation.
Contribute to IP filings and relevant publications.

Required Educational Background

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry
• Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry
• Courses: Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry

Experience Required

• Minimum: 3 years
• Maximum: 8 years
• Domain: API R&D, Organic Synthesis, Impurity Profiling, Scale-up Chemistry, QbD Implementation
