Position Title: Scientist / Senior Scientist – Microbial Fermentation

Job Description

As a Scientist/Senior Scientist in Microbial Fermentation at Biocon, you will:

1. Bioprocess Technology Expertise:
   • Candidates with a background in bioprocess technology/biochemical engineering with 2-5 years of industrial experience will be preferred.
2. Microbial Fermentation Knowledge:
   • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of microbial fermentation and scale-up processes.
3. Process Development:
   • Contribute to process development in the Upstream R&D department.
4. Optimization Responsibilities:
   • Take charge of optimizing fermentation processes for enhanced efficiency.
5. R&D Work Management:
   • Manage assigned R&D work, including SF trials and fermenter trials.
6. Lab Experimentation:
   • Design and execute lab experiments to support research initiatives.
7. Documentation and Data Control:
   • Handle documentation tasks, including batch compilations and stability data management.

Education Qualification:

• M. Tech. / Ph.D.

Required Experience:

• 2-5 years
