Introduction: Gujarat Urban Health Project (Ahmedabad) is seeking applications for the position of Pharmacist. This recruitment drive aims to fill current and future vacancies in urban primary health centers and urban community health centers in the metropolitan municipality area of Gujarat. The positions are allotted on a 100% grant basis by the Government of Gujarat and are purely temporary in nature. Position: Pharmacist Total Vacancies: 33 (including 1 post reserved for PWD)

Eligibility:

• Registered Pharmacist from a recognized institution.

Salary:

• Fixed Pay: Rs. 31,340/- for up to five years, after which performance appraisal will be considered.
• Pay Scale: Level – 5 Pay Matrix Rs. 29,200-92,300, along with other allowances as per rules.

Age Limit: Not more than 35 years + 1 year (unless employed by AMC)

Important Instructions for Candidates:

1. Application Fee: Candidates belonging to the non-reserved category (other than the disabled category) must pay an application fee of Rs. 1,128/- online by 11/06/2023.
2. Temporary Appointment: The appointed candidates will be released from their positions after the closure of the government grant/project. They will not be entitled to permanent employment or other benefits in the future. Candidates will not be considered as employees of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
3. Submission of Proofs: The details provided by the candidates in the online application form will be considered final throughout the recruitment process. Original proofs (including attested copies) must be submitted when requested by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
4. Multiple Applications: Candidates can only submit one application for one cadre. If multiple applications are submitted for one cadre, only the last confirmed application will be accepted.
5. Reservation and Caste Certificates: Reserved caste candidates from Gujarat must clearly indicate whether they are applying for a reserved seat or a non-reserved seat. Candidates must submit a certificate issued by the competent authority of the Gujarat Government regarding their caste, sub-caste, S/P, and Economically Weaker Section (EWS/E.N.V.) as per the prescribed format.
6. Relaxation for Female Candidates: Female candidates will be given a relaxation of five (5) years in the upper age limit.
7. Selection Process: The selection process will include a written test (MCQ test) and/or practical test/interview. Shortlisted candidates will be notified of the further recruitment process through the official website or mobile notification.
8. Personal Contact Details: Candidates must provide a valid mobile number in the online application form for future communication related to the recruitment process.
9. Self-financed Examination: In the case of a written examination, it may be conducted by a reputed institute in multiple sessions or with different sets of questions.
10. Legal Action: Candidates found providing incorrect or misleading information at any stage of the recruitment process may face cancellation of their application and appropriate legal action.
