Job Roles and Responsibilities

Upstream Process Development

Qualifications: M.Sc. (Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology) / M.Tech (Biotechnology)
Experience: 2 to 10 years
Key Responsibilities:

• Handle mammalian cell culture processes and microbial fermentation.
• Operate equipment such as bioreactors and CEDEX Bioanalyzer.
• Perform activities including cell line handling, cell bank preparation, media scouting, and process optimization.
• Document procedures and maintain SOPs, STPs, and other records accurately.

In-Process Analysis and Stability Group

Qualifications: Ph.D., M.Sc., M.Tech, M.Pharm (Biotechnology/Biochemistry or equivalent)
Experience: 2 to 10 years
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and qualify analytical methods for biosimilar or novel biological products.
• Conduct in-process analysis during upstream, downstream, and drug product process development.
• Perform degradation and stability studies, excipient analysis, and report writing.
• Utilize techniques such as HPLC, gel electrophoresis, and spectrophotometry.

Formulations Group

Qualifications: Ph.D., M.Sc., M.Tech (Biotechnology/Biochemistry) / M.Pharm (Biotechnology/Pharmaceutics)
Experience: 2 to 10 years
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute formulation development for liquid and lyophilized products.
• Conduct stability and degradation studies, technology transfer activities.
• Perform formulation screening, selection of container-closure systems, and documentation.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team for drug product batch manufacturing.
