Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Medical Coder, you will:
- Review medical records to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Assign correct ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures
- Apply medical necessity and APC guidelines for accurate claims processing
- Ensure compliance with healthcare documentation standards
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in Life Sciences (B.Sc, M.Sc, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Botany, Pharma, Nursing, or related fields)
- Certification: AAPC Certification (mandatory)
- Skills: Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and coding guidelines
