Job Roles and Responsibilities

Trainee/Officer/Senior Officer/Executive in Biotech API Plant Production

At Wockhardt’s Biotech API Plant, you’ll be part of a dynamic team working on the production of biosimilars through upstream and downstream processes. The key responsibilities for these roles include:

• Supervising and managing day-to-day production activities.
• Monitoring upstream processes such as fermentation, cell culture, and growth media preparation.
• Overseeing downstream activities including purification, filtration, and chromatography.
• Ensuring compliance with cGMP and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of batch records, SOPs, and protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates applying for these positions must meet the following educational and experience qualifications:

• Education:
  • M.Sc. in Biotechnology or Microbiology
  • BE/B.Tech in Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering
• Experience:
  • Freshers are welcome to apply.
  • Up to 4 years of experience in Biotech API Production or related roles, especially within the biosimilar industry.
