Job Role & Responsibilities

As an F&D Scientist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting pre-formulation studies including compatibility, solubility, and stability testing.
• Developing and optimizing dosage form formulations (oral solids, liquids, semisolids, injectables).
• Preparing and reviewing BMRs, development reports, and technical documentation.
• Performing scale-up and technology transfer to manufacturing facilities.
• Ensuring compliance with global regulatory guidelines (USFDA, EMA, WHO, ICH).
• Collaborating with ADL, RA, QA, and Production teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshooting formulation and process-related challenges.
• Supporting regulatory submissions such as ANDA and CTD.
• Staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in formulation science.

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Education: M.Pharm, M.Sc, or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, or related fields.
• Experience: 2–8 years of relevant industry experience in formulation and development.
• Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of formulation science and process optimization.
  • Hands-on expertise with equipment such as granulators, blenders, tablet press, coating machines, lyophilizers.
  • Familiarity with ICH, cGMP, and global regulatory standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
