Safety Writer

Job Description: As a Safety Writer, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and delivering safety writing services for multiple clinical trial and/or marketed product projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting data review, authoring, and quality review tasks on low to medium complexity clinical trial and marketed product safety writing deliverables.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned low complexity safety writing deliverables.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual agreements, and applicable regulations.
• Reviewing regulatory/pharmacovigilance publications to stay updated on current regulations.

About the Department & Responsibilities: As a member of our Clinical Research team, you will operate in a lead capacity, managing communication and data requests, participating in meetings, audits, and inspections. Your role will involve routine project implementation, coordination of activities, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in challenging circumstances.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good knowledge of ICH and US aggregate safety reporting formats.
• Attention to detail and strong data interpretation and medical-scientific writing skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate appropriately.
• Effective oral and written English language communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and ability to work within multiple systems.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
• 2+ years of previous experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
