Job Role & Responsibilities

1. MS&T – Non-Orals (Process Development & Optimization)

• Support process development and optimization activities.
• Handle technology transfer documentation.
• Design and implement control strategies for robust processes.
• Work on process modeling for robustness and optimization.
• Collaborate with analytical teams for method understanding.
• Support regulatory filings and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and investigate scale-up and execution batch issues.
• Partner with QA/Regulatory teams for compliance support.

2. Formulation Development – Non-Orals

• Lead end-to-end development of topical, transdermal, and parenteral dosage forms (creams, ointments, gels, solutions, lotions, foams, patches, injectables, depots, prefilled syringes, cartridges).
• Handle generic product development (ANDA) and contribute to NDA 505(b)(2) & 505(b)(1) projects.
• Work extensively on product characterization, stability, and regulatory submissions.

3. Biotechnology – Downstream Processing

• Establish and lead the Downstream Group within Biological Drug Substance Unit.
• Drive purification process development and clinical batch production of recombinant proteins.
• Oversee design, planning, operation, and monitoring of downstream development and GMP production.
• Specialize in large molecule biologics, recombinant proteins, and monoclonal antibodies.
• Operate and analyze data from TFF systems, chromatography, and filtration systems.
• Interpret results using advanced process analysis tools.

Eligibility / Qualifications

• MS&T – Non-Orals: M.Pharm with 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Formulation Development – Non-Orals: M.Pharm/PhD with 8–10 years of experience in topical, transdermal, or parenteral product development.
• Biotechnology – Downstream Processing: M.Sc./M.Tech/PhD with 5–8 years of hands-on downstream process development and GMP exposure.

Preferred backgrounds include Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, and related disciplines.
