This opportunity is ideal for chemistry professionals with hands-on experience in process development, organic synthesis, and analytical techniques.
About the Role: Process Chemist
Department: Process Chemistry
Designation: Executive / Senior Executive
Location: Peenya, Bangalore
Experience: Ph.D. with 2–5 years OR M.Sc. with 3–4 years in Organic or Process Chemistry
Key Responsibilities
- Design and development of synthetic routes for New Chemical Entities (NCEs) and APIs
- Optimization of reaction parameters to enhance yield and purity
- Perform feasibility studies and troubleshoot process issues
- Hands-on experience in analytical methods: HPLC, GC, NMR, IR, and LCMS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on scale-up and tech transfer
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow cGMP guidelines
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry / Process Chemistry
- Prior experience in CDMO, API manufacturing, or drug discovery
- Expertise in multistep synthesis and scale-up process
- Familiarity with QMS and regulatory standards
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Must have completed at least 1 year in the current organization
