Current Opening: Officer/Sr. Officer – Quality Control (API)

Department Overview

The Quality Control department plays a critical role in ensuring all materials and finished products meet rigorous quality and regulatory standards. At Ipca’s API plant, the QC team is involved in instrumental analysis, documentation, environmental monitoring, and regulatory audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and instrumental analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished APIs.
• Maintain proper documentation as per GMP, GLP, and regulatory norms.
• Prepare analytical reports and conduct method validations.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and maintain laboratory hygiene.
• Support audit readiness and respond to audit observations.

Required Qualifications

• Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry (Organic/Analytical preferred)
• Experience: 4 to 6 years specifically in an API manufacturing plant
• Skills:
  • Sound understanding of HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and other analytical techniques.
  • Good knowledge of GMP guidelines.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
