- NATIONAL DOPE TESTING LABORATORY JRF NOTIFICATION
The National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) is now accepting applications for six Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions. This prestigious opportunity is open to candidates with a postgraduate degree in M. Pharma, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Pharmacology. Located in New Delhi, NDTL offers a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs 31,000/- for a tenure of up to three years.

The National Dope Testing Laboratory, an autonomous body under the Government of India, is a premier scientific institute dedicated to human sports dope testing and allied research. As a World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)-Accredited Laboratory, NDTL boasts state-of-the-art facilities and sophisticated analytical equipment, including LC-Orbitrap-HRMS, GC/C/IRMS, Sysmex XN 1000, and Cobas e 411. The laboratory is committed to advancing research in dope science and establishing collaborations with national and international institutes.
Vacancy Information
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of Positions: Six (06)
Location: National Dope Testing Laboratory, JLN Stadium Complex, East Gate No. 10, New Delhi – 110003
Stipend: Rs 31,000/- per month
Tenure: Two years, extendable for an additional year
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Forensic Science, or M. Pharma.
Additional Requirements:
- Qualified National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship) or GATE.
- Selection in other National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Preferred Areas of Specialization:
- LC-MS/MS assays, large peptides assays using immunopurification, and small molecule assays.
- GC-MS/MS for small molecule assays (Preferred GC-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry).
- Gel electrophoresis, immunoassay, Western blotting, flow cytometry, hematology assays.
- GC/C/IRMS.
- Experience in analyzing biological samples (urine/blood).

- Complete the online registration form and ensure you have a scanned photo identity proof (PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License, Passport) in jpg/jpeg format (50 KB – 200 KB).

- Verify both via OTP received on your registered mobile number and email ID.
Selection Process
- The prescribed qualifications are the minimum required, and mere possession does not entitle candidates to an interview.
- Details about qualifications and experience should be complete and accurate. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the written test and/or interview.
- The engagement is purely on a contractual basis, initially for two years and extendable for another year based on performance.
- Notifications regarding interview dates and shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the NDTL website.
General Instructions
- Performance will be reviewed yearly. Unsatisfactory performance may lead to contract termination with one month’s notice.
- Service conditions such as leave and tours will apply as per NDTL norms for contractual employees.
- The decision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), NDTL, regarding selection is final and binding.
