Detailed Job Description

Role: As a Trainee Research Associate in Synthesis, your key responsibilities will include:

• Synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemical intermediates.
• Delivery of small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery.
• Collaborative work in a team to drive chemistry projects forward.

Qualification:

• MSc in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field, or M Pharma (Specialized in Organic Synthesis) with 0-1 years of project experience.

Technical and Functional Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry with mechanisms.
• Good understanding of Name Reactions & functional group transformation.
• Practical experience in thin-layer chromatography, column purification, and extraction.
• Familiarity with NMR, IR, and mass spectrometry techniques.

Behavioral Skills:

• Interest and knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
• Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic research environment.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS-Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Chemdraw).
