Job Role & Responsibilities
As a QA Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring clinical trials are conducted in accordance with study protocols and global regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring ongoing project progress, compliance, and performance.
- Planning, managing, and conducting internal audits, external audits, and vendor audits.
- Developing and maintaining GCP-compliant SOPs and Document Management Systems.
- Reviewing and approving SOPs of other departments to ensure compliance.
- Implementing effective CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) measures and reporting non-compliance promptly.
- Reviewing deviations, change controls, and managing documentation of incidents.
- Supporting HOD-DA in impact analysis and evaluation of corrective actions.
- Managing and mentoring the Quality Assurance team, including training and skill development.
- Facilitating effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to drive compliance and performance.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Education: M.Pharm (preferred), MSc, or B.Pharm. Relevant fields include Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Life Sciences.
- Experience: 4–5 years in Quality Assurance, preferably within a CRO or clinical trials environment.
- Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and current regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage audits and liaise with sponsors and regulatory authorities.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and leadership skills.
