Jubilant Biosys, a renowned contract research organization (CRO), seeks a Team Lead in Computational Chemistry at their Bengaluru facility. This is a opportunity for professionals with 5-10 years of experience and a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry

Key Responsibilities

As the Team Lead, you will oversee various aspects of computational chemistry to support drug discovery initiatives:

• Molecular Modeling Expertise: Utilize advanced structure-based and ligand-based approaches, including molecular dynamics (MD) and free energy perturbation (FEP) calculations, to accelerate drug discovery.
• AI/ML Integration: Develop and implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) protocols to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of preclinical drug discovery.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with medicinal chemistry teams and other departments to integrate computational insights into drug design.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of computational chemists, ensuring high-quality results and maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Drug Discovery Support: Provide computational chemistry support for the design and optimization of novel therapeutic compounds, contributing to key drug discovery projects.

Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry or related fields such as computational biology or medicinal chemistry.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in computational chemistry, with a strong background in structure-based and ligand-based drug design.

Skills and Expertise Required

• Computational Chemistry Proficiency: Deep expertise in molecular dynamics (MD), free energy perturbation (FEP), and virtual screening techniques.
• Software Skills: Proficient in both commercial and open-source molecular modeling software used in the pharmaceutical industry.
• AI/ML Application: Hands-on experience in developing and applying AI/ML techniques
