About the Internship

The Research and Development (R&D) Cell at Parul University is currently accepting applications for its Animal Cell Culture and Immunobiochemistry Lab. The focus of the lab is the synthesis, characterization, and elucidation of the molecular mechanisms of cancer growth inhibition using various bioactive compounds.

Internship Details:

• Location: Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat, India
• Positions Available: 5 PG dissertation students (Life Sciences, Pharmacy)
• Duration: 3-6 months (Minimum)
• Application Deadline: October 20, 2024
• Internship Start Date: Selected candidates will be notified by the first week of November 2024
• Internship Fees: Applicable (details will be provided to selected candidates)

Key Responsibilities:

As an intern, you will:

• Work under the supervision of experienced researchers in the Animal Cell Culture and Immunobiochemistry Lab.
• Participate in cancer research projects, specifically focusing on bioactive compounds and their effects on cancer cell growth inhibition.
• Gain hands-on experience in cell culture techniques, immunobiochemistry assays, and other molecular biology protocols.
• Contribute to ongoing research projects and assist with data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Prepare reports and presentations based on your findings, as part of your dissertation.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this internship, you must:

• Be pursuing a postgraduate degree in Life Sciences or Pharmacy.
• Be ready to commit to a 3-6 month internship.
• Obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your department’s Head of Institution before applying.
