Job Location: Jadcherla, Hetero Biopharma Ltd.

Experience:

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in biopharma production, especially upstream processes.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field, with relevant industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Production Upstream Expert, your role will involve:

1. Handling Single-Use Bioreactors:
   • Expertise in operating bioreactors ranging from 1000 to 2000 liters for mammalian cell cultures.
   • Managing 20/50 single-use bioreactors, including CO2 shaker incubators.
2. GMP Documentation:
   • Preparing and maintaining GMP documentation such as BPRs (Batch Production Records) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
   • Ensuring compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) protocols.
3. Team Leadership:
   • Managing a small team of 2-3 members, guiding them through daily production activities and ensuring adherence to best practices.
4. Monoclonal Antibody Production:
   • Working on biosimilar products including monoclonal antibodies and ensuring the highest levels of quality in the production process.
5. Adherence to Regulatory Standards:
   • Ensuring the entire production process aligns with global regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Skills Required

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should have:

• Strong experience in mammalian cell culture and single-use bioreactors.
• Sound knowledge of biosimilars and monoclonal antibodies production processes.
• Proficiency in GMP documentation and QMS systems.
• Ability to handle upstream fermentation and work with stainless steel bioreactors.
• Experience managing a small team and adhering to project deadlines.
