Job Role & Responsibilities

Associate Principal Scientist – In Vivo Pharmacology

• Design and conduct efficacy studies in Metabolic Disorders, CNS, Pain, Inflammation/Autoimmune, and Cardiovascular models.
• Handle and dose laboratory animals (mice, rats including db/db, ob/ob, DIO, SHR, Zucker models).
• Perform small animal surgeries: jugular/femoral/carotid vein cannulation, bladder catheterization.
• Administer test items (i.v., i.p., s.c., p.o., i.t., i.d.) and prepare dose formulations.
• Collect and analyze data using GraphPad Prism.
• Prepare SOPs, protocols, IAEC submissions, and detailed study reports.
• Interact with clients, manage project delivery, and mentor junior scientists.

Research Scientist – In Vivo Pharmacology

• Conduct animal handling, dosing, and efficacy studies.
• Support small animal surgical procedures.
• Perform dose administration and monitor clinical observations.
• Assist in data analysis, report writing, and client communication.
• Contribute to preclinical pharmacology research in multiple therapeutic areas.

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Associate Principal Scientist: M.Pharm with 10+ years OR PhD in Pharmacology with 5+ years of experience.
• Research Scientist: M.Pharm or PhD with minimum 3 years of experience in preclinical pharmacology.

Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in preclinical animal models and PK/PD correlation.
• Hands-on surgical skills in rodents.
• Proficiency in GraphPad Prism and data interpretation.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Adaptability to fast-paced CRO and drug discovery environments.
