Job Role & Responsibilities
As an HCC Medical Coder, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and analyzing patient medical records to assign accurate Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) codes.
- Ensuring compliance with ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and payer-specific requirements.
- Maintaining high accuracy levels to support risk adjustment models.
- Collaborating with the quality assurance team to resolve coding discrepancies.
- Keeping updated on coding guidelines and industry best practices.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Life Science Graduates (B.Sc, M.Sc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Nursing, or equivalent).
- Certifications: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) & CRC (Certified Risk Adjustment Coder) mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of HCC medical coding experience.
- Skills Required: Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM codes, attention to detail, ability to work in fast-paced environments.

- Work Mode: Work from Office
