Job Role: Clinical Pharmacist
As a Clinical Pharmacist at Matria Hospital, you will be integral to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care. You will ensure optimal medicine management and safe patient outcomes by applying your expertise in medication dispensing, compounding, and patient consultations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kozhikode, Kerala.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe and accurate dispensing of medications.
- Provide pharmaceutical care through patient consultations.
- Manage the compounding of medications based on prescriptions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care.
- Review and evaluate prescriptions for appropriateness and safety.
- Maintain accurate medication records and adhere to hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and healthcare professionals about proper medication use.
Qualifications
To be considered for the role of Clinical Pharmacist, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Pharm D degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of medicine management and pharmaceutical care.
- Experience in compounding medications.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
