Job Overview: Associate Content Editor – Pharma Bio

As an Associate Content Editor – Pharma Bio, you will join our dedicated Abstraction team in Hyderabad. This team is responsible for the enrichment and curation of high-quality content sets, ensuring that our Patent Intelligence products are enhanced with accurate and valuable information.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract Preparation: Prepare abstracts for patents in accordance with the set rules defined in the DWPI Abstracting policy document.
• Detailed Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of patents to provide accurate and editorially enhanced technical information in the form of summaries that include descriptive titles, uses, novel features, advantages, and other key information related to the invention.
• Insight Capture: Capture useful insights from patent data to generate editorially enhanced technical summaries of patent records.
• Tool Utilization: Use Clarivate-specific tools for content editing, abstraction, and curation.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Educational Background: MSc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or B.Tech/M.Tech in Biotechnology.
• Experience: Freshers are preferred, though candidates with up to one year of experience in content abstraction or editing are also welcome.
• Additional Skills: Certification in typing, extensive knowledge about patents and drafting, and great English comprehension skills are advantageous.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with standard working hours from 9 am to 6 pm IST. Some colleagues may work from other parts of the world, including the UK and USA.
