CSIR-IIIM (Council of Scientific & Industrial Research – Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine), Jammu is inviting online applications for its Research & Training/Internship Program for the June-July 2023 session. About CSIR-IIIM R&TP 2023
- CSIR-IIIM is inviting online applications for the Research & Training/Internship Program (June-July) 2023.
- The program is open to prospective candidates from all branches of Life and Chemical science.
Mode of Training/Internship
- Trainees will work under the supervision/mentorship of a CSIR-IIIM Scientist/Technical Officer.
- Each student will be assigned a project and required to submit a ‘Project Report’ upon completion.
Eligibility:
- M.Sc. Program: Students admitted in 2022 (completed the first year of M.Sc).
- B.Tech./B.Pharm Program: Students admitted in 2020 (completed 3 years of B.Tech).
- Integrated B.Tech.-M.Tech or B.Sc-M.Sc. or BVSc: Students who completed the 8th Semester (or 4 years of study).
- MBBS/BDS students in any year of their study can apply.
- B.Sc in Biosciences 4 years program: Students admitted in 2020 (completed 3 years of B.Sc).
- Note: Candidates pursuing a 3-year B.Sc program and Ph.D. are not eligible to apply.
Selection Criteria
- A Nationwide representation.
- Preference is given to students from:
- Public-funded Universities/Institutes,
- Universities/Institutes with whom CSIR-IIIM Jammu has an MoU.
- Academic Record of 12th class, graduation, and semesters cleared at Bachelor/Masters level till May 2023.
Trainee’s Intake and Fee
- The number of trainees’ intake varies between 40-50 candidates for the June/July 2023 session.
- Fee structure:
- Two months = 10000+ GST
- Three months = 15000+ GST
- Four months = 20000+ GST
- Five months = 25000+ GST
- Six months = 30000+ GST
How to Apply
- Prospective trainees must submit their applications online through the provided web link: https://training.iiim.res.in.
- The deadline for application submission is 30th May 2022, 5:00 PM.
Required Documents
Attach the following documents along with the application form:
- Completed Application Form
- Marks Card and Diploma/Degree Certificate of 12th Standard and Graduation
- Marks Card of semesters cleared till May 2023.
- Recommendation Letter (In original) from HoD/Dean/Registrar/Principal/Director (in Original).
Financial Support/Boarding/Lodging
- Selected candidates are responsible for self-financing their stay at CSIR-IIIM Jammu.
- Accommodation requests may be considered for outstation students based on availability and a first-come-first-serve basis.
- The nominal license fee + electricity charges will apply as per CSIR norms.
Important Dates
- Starting date of online application: 16th May 2023
- Last date for submitting online applications: 30th May 2023 (5:30 pm)
- Display of the list of selected candidates on the IIIM homepage: 1st June 2023
- Tentative dates of joining IIIM: Between 2nd June – 15th July 2023
Important Notes
- Applications for the Internship/Training Program JUNE/JULY 2023 must be submitted online.
- The duration of the program is two to six months starting from June 2023.
- Requests or applications sent before the notification will not be considered; candidates must apply again using the prescribed application form.
- Upload copies of marks/grades obtained in 10th standard, B.Sc, and M.Sc (first year) or B.Tech/B.Pharm (first three years) or Integrated B.Tech – M.Tech (first four years).
- If the marks sheet/grades for the 2nd semester (or first year) of M.Sc or 6th semester (last semester of pre-final year) in the case of B.Tech or 8th semester (last semester of pre-final year) in the case of Integrated B.Tech – M.Tech students are not available, candidates must upload a certificate stating that they have appeared for the exams and the results are awaited.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- The decision of the CSIR-IIIM Jammu regarding the selection of candidates is final.
- Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence, political or otherwise, will result in disqualification.
- All selected candidates must work for the duration of the training without any breaks.
- Candidates are required to provide an authorization letter from the Head of the Department/DEAN/Registrar/Principal/Director.
- The data generated as part of the summer training/project work will be the sole copyright of IIIM and cannot be shared on public platforms without prior permission from the guide.
