Pharmacovigilance Scientist – Position Code: PVS001

Location: Chandigarh

Responsibilities

As a Pharmacovigilance Scientist at CONTINUUM, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products. Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs) for both marketed and investigational human and veterinary products.
• Processing, follow-up, analysis, and regulatory reporting of AEs and SAEs.
• Preparing aggregate reports, such as Periodic Benefit Risk Evaluation Reports (PBRERs) and Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs), in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Signal detection-related analyses and reports, including cumulative analyses and issue event analyses.

Minimum Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Biophysics), or a degree in Dentistry, Veterinary Sciences (B.V.Sc.), or Post-Graduation in Veterinary Sciences (M.V.Sc.).
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with web-based applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to write concise and accurate synopses of medical text and data.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Capability to evaluate data independently and draw conclusions.

Drug Safety Physician – Position Code: DSP001

Location: Chandigarh

Responsibilities

As a Drug Safety Physician at CONTINUUM, your role is pivotal in ensuring the safety of pharmaceutical products. Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing aggregate reports, such as PBRERs and PSURs, while adhering to client conventions and requirements.
• Conducting quality checks of aggregate reports.
• Engaging in signal detection-related analyses and reports, including cumulative analyses and issue event analyses.
• Reviewing published literature and case listings.
• Maintaining vigilance over important medical events and interacting with clients to discuss potential signals and issues.

Minimum Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you need:

• A degree in Medicine (MBBS) or a post-graduation qualification (MD).
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Computer skills, including working with web-based applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to evaluate and interpret scientific data independently.
• An excellent understanding of global regulatory reporting obligations.
