Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow on a contract basis for the DBT-funded project entitled “Therapeutic leads for pain from Conus peptides of the Indian marine coast.” This project will be supervised by Dr. Chandraiah Godugu, Dr. Manoj Dandekar, and Dr. Rajesh Sonti for a period of 1-2 years as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and the 3rd year as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) as per the eligibility criteria of DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019 for JRF/SRF/RA. The project collaborates with the Central University of Karnataka with Prof. Hanumae Gowd.

Qualifications: The candidate should have a Master’s degree (MS/M. Pharm/MSc.) preferably in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Candidate age should not exceed more than 28 years on the last date of the application. Age relaxation will be provided as per DBT, GoI norms. Candidates having experience in cell culture techniques, in vivo pharmacology, and molecular biology will be preferred.
