Malabar Cancer Centre, a renowned cancer treatment and research center in Kerala, India, is currently offering a job opportunity for Clinical Trial Coordinators. URGENTLY REQUIRED FOR EXISTING AND ARISING VACANCIES (On a Temporary Basis)

Online applications submitted for the posts of Clinical Trial Coordinator, Research Nurse, and Data Entry Operator for appointment under short-term research projects at Malabar Cancer Centre (Notification. MCC/55/2022-CON-IRB dated:07-03-2023)

Clinical Trial Coordinator

Essential qualification; Pharm D/ MPharm / BDS/ MPH/ MSc (Biostatistics)/ MSc Clinical Research /MSc Life Science /MSc Nursing/Post graduate diploma in Clinical Research/BTech Biotechnology

Experience;  1-year experience in clinical trials or in a Research project funded a research project or Pharma sponsored or in Industry supported trails

The job duties of a Clinical Trial Coordinator may include recruiting and screening patients for the study, maintaining study records, coordinating study visits, monitoring adverse events, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Remuneration/ Month; Rs.30,000/-

Research Nurse

Qualification: GNM/BSc Nursing
Experience(Desirable): 2 Years for GNM candidates and 1 Year for BSc Nursing
Maximum Age(years); 35

remuneration/ Month; Rs.25,700/-

Data entry operator

Qualification: Any Degree with a Diploma in Computer Application or PGDCA from a Government Institution/University
Experience(Desirable): 1 Year experience in data entry operation in a reputed hospital or in similar projects
remuneration/ Month; Rs.18,000/-

Terms & Conditions:

  1. The tenure of the temporary posting shall be for a period of one year or till the completion of the project. Extension after each tenure shall be considered, based on the performance of the candidate with a sufficient break of service, in between each tenure.
  2. Above said post will be stationed at Malabar Cancer Centre, Thalassery. Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular posts and benefits
  3. Applications will be screened and selected candidates will be called for an interview. Application received after the due date will not be
    considered under any circumstances. Details regarding the interview date will be informed later. There may be screening tests if the
    number of candidates is more than 5 per post. The marks obtained in the screening test will not be used for selection except in case of a tie-in interview.
  4. Any attempt at influencing any official of MCC will be a straightforward reason for outright rejection of the application. Such candidates will be debarred for a period of 5 years from applying to any post in MCC
  5. No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the Interview or joining of post and out Stationed candidate should make his/her own arrangement to stay for an interview and join the post if offered
  6. Qualification and experience should be from a recognized University or Organization (Recognized by the Central or State Government). For BSc Nursing/GNM, registration shall be under INC/KNMC/ITC, etc.
  7. Age will be calculated as of 1st January of the year. ie 01-01-2023
  8. The decision of the Director is final in all aspects of recruitment
  9. Canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification. Candidates are advised to desist from such unholy practices

    The application fee is Rs. 50/- for SC/ ST category and Rs.250/ – for others. The application fee shall pay online through the payment
    gateway system provided in the online Application
  • The last date for submission of ONLINE application is 25th March 2023 till 5.00 pm
  • For Candidates claiming fee concession/exemption, a copy of the SC/ST Certificate from the competent authority shall be submitted at the time of the interview. Else the candidate may pay the payment for the general category.
  • The applications that are not complete in all respect will not be considered and no individual intimation will be given
  • Selection will be based on qualification and experience and performance in the Test/Interview. Claims in respect of Qualifications,
    Experience, etc. should be supported by copies of relevant documents; Candidates should produce the originals at the time of the interview
  • The application will be screened and eligible candidates will be informed through email (with the date & venue) to attend the interview.
