Job Description:
About the Department & Responsibilities: The Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology at IIT (BHU), Varanasi, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow. Engage in groundbreaking research on the project “Exploring naturally inspired piperine derivatives as multitarget directed ligands for the management of Alzheimer’s disease.” Contribute to a temporary project that holds the promise of scientific advancements and impact.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Essential Qualifications: First-class in M Pharm, MS.(Pharm.), M Tech(Pharm), M Tech in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Natural Product, Pharmacology with GATE, GPAT, CSIR-NET or equivalent examination.
- Duration: Initially for one year, extendable up to 3 years depending on performance.
- Desirable Qualifications: Expertise in semi-synthesis of natural products, cell biology related experiments, and animal handling experience will be considered favorably.
- Age Limit: 28 Years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates).
