Key Responsibilities:

As a Pharmacovigilance Services Specialist, you will be a crucial part of Accenture’s Life Sciences R&D team. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Medical Review: Reviewing and verifying appropriate sections of adverse events, including MedDRA coding, labeling, causality, and providing medical assessment comments as needed for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSR).
2. Quality Assurance: Ensuring the medical content and quality of the case, accurate coding, and consistency between source documents and narrative summaries.
3. Adverse Event Follow-up: Actively following up on adverse events to obtain more information and reviewing all letters and queries for appropriateness and completeness.
4. Continuous Learning: Constantly updating domain and operations skills to stay compliant with changing regulatory requirements.
5. Case Routing: Routing the case to distribution and ensuring it is locked.
6. Feedback: Providing feedback to the Case creation and data entry production leads regarding the quality of data entry in serious cases.
7. Peer Review: Conducting offline peer reviews of agreed samples of cases for the assessment of narrative quality, E2B sender’s comments, and medical query completeness.
8. Audits and Inspections: Participating in audits or inspections as needed.
9. Training and Mentoring: Training and mentoring new associates and authoring process documents.
