Officer/Executive Position in API Production at Global Calcium Pvt Ltd: Enhancing API Manufacturing

Global Calcium Pvt Ltd is a renowned company in the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) industry, committed to producing high-quality intermediates and APIs. Currently, Global Calcium Pvt Ltd is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Officer/Executive in API Production. This role requires a minimum of 2 to 7 years of experience in the API industry and offers an opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing of essential pharmaceutical ingredients.

Job Description

As an Officer/Executive in API Production, you will be responsible for executing various tasks related to producing intermediates/API/solvent recovery and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your key roles and responsibilities will include:

1. Producing Intermediates/API/Solvent Recovery: Following pre-approved instructions, you will produce intermediates/APIs and ensure accurate recording of the production process in the respective Batch Production Records (BPR) and other relevant documents.
2. Cleaning Activity: Performing cleaning activities as per the established procedures and recording the details in the Batch Cleaning Records (BCR) or related documents.
3. Process and Plant Operations Control: Adhering to the approved Batch Production Records (BPR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), checklists, and instructions, you will effectively control the process and plant operations.
4. Maintaining Critical Process Parameters (CPP): Ensuring the right first time (RFT) quality and yield by maintaining critical process parameters. Your operations should prevent any mis-operations or losses during the execution of processes.
5. Identifying Abnormalities and Implementing Counter-Measures: Proactively identifying abnormalities related to equipment, materials, personnel, process safety, and environmental impacts. Collaborating with support functions such as Engineering, EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), TSD/TT (Technical Services and Development/Technology Transfer) to implement necessary counter-measures.
6. Quality Monitoring: Tracking quality trends by analyzing operating parameters of the processes to effectively produce high-quality products.
7. Equipment Calibration: Ensuring that the respective equipment is calibrated as per the defined schedule to maintain accuracy and reliability.
8. Maintaining Clean Equipment/Area: Keeping the respective equipment and the production area clean and tidy to comply with cleanliness and hygiene standards.
9. Online Equipment Status Update: Updating equipment status boards in real-time to provide visibility into the operational status of equipment.
10. Risk Identification: Cross-verifying interlocks and identifying any abnormalities associated with risks and objectives.
