Designation : Deputy Associate Manager:
Education : B Pharmacy graduate and MBA
Experience : 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in pharma industry.
Job Responsibilities :
The candidates will be responsible for opening and developing businesses in specific locations (Middle East and Gulf Corporation Council).
The job requires to set the vision & formulate short / medium / long range business plans for the given territory [identifying business models (JV. strategic alliance etc.), finding and appointing partners, product ideation, bridging portfolio gaps, operational capability building, market trends, competitor activities etc.), to initiate, discuss, negotiate and close JV & strategic partnerships, to conduct due diligence on variety of transactions and to get familiar with the entire scope of licensing policies.
The job also requires to conclude complex licensing deals that involved licensing fees or upfront, milestones and royalties on sales and multiple geographical territories.
Further the key responsibilities include, identifying acquisition opportunities (business, brands etc.).
conducting complete in-depth financial and commercial reviews of the target, directly involving in due diligence and negotiation of acquisition candidates with investment bankers, recommending products for development that have high scope in the territory and in case of limitations of in-house production, source these products from outside vendors, understanding and completing all technical, regulatory and administrative formalities of respective countries, facilitating registrations / inspections of in-house as well as third party’s manufacturing facilities form where products are intended to be sourced, liaising with internal functional departments like legal, product development, manufacturing, regulatory, finance, costing, supply chain etc., for conducting smooth businesses in the territory.
managing co-development, registration of products, launch and commercial operations and developing close relationships with KOLs, key trade customers, government authorities, regulatory bodies and developing corporate image for Zydus.
The key performance indicators include, identification and finalization of business models, preparation plan for the location, implementation of the plan in the agreed time and achievement of the budget sales and profit targets.
