Position Overview

We invite applications from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to contribute to our ICMR-sponsored projects under the guidance of Dr. Ashish Kumar Agrawal at the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi.

Project Titles

1. Project 1: Folic Acid-Functionalized Drug Cocktail Loaded Lipid Nano-Constructs for Enhancing Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Therapy.
2. Project 2: Pharmacological Exploration and Repurposing of an Anti-Malarial Drug for the Treatment of Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Using Bovine Milk Exosomes as a Delivery Vehicle.

Duration

The position is temporary and will last for three years, co-terminating with the project.

Fellowship

• Monthly Fellowship Amount: Rs. 31,000 + HRA (18%)

Qualifications

• First-class degree in M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm)/M. Tech in Pharmaceutics/Pharmacology/Biotechnology
• GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent qualifications
• Basic degree in pharmacy (B. Pharm)

Note: Candidates in the final semester of M. Pharm/M.S.(Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm)/M. Tech are also eligible.

Desired Qualifications

Candidates with experience in:

• Animal handling
• Western blotting
• Cell culture
• RT-PCR

will be given preference.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 28 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates).
