Job Role & Responsibilities

As an HCC Medical Coder, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate risk adjustment coding in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform HCC coding using ICD-10-CM guidelines
• Apply CMS rules and risk adjustment models
• Review patient charts and abstract accurate diagnoses
• Ensure compliance with payer-specific rules and regulatory standards
• Maintain coding quality, productivity, and accuracy benchmarks
• Collaborate with team leads to improve coding processes

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Education: Any graduate in Life Sciences or related field
• Certifications: CPC, CRC, CCS, or COC (mandatory)
• Experience: 2–3 years of HCC coding experience
• Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding
  • Familiarity with CMS guidelines and risk adjustment models
  • High attention to detail, time management, and analytical ability
