Open Positions and Qualifications
1. Medicinal Chemistry Scientist
Req id: 59700 – Medicinal Chemistry Scientist
Qualifications: M.Sc. / M.Pharm / PhD / PhD + Postdoc
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Medicinal Chemistry or related drug discovery roles
Strong foundation in organic synthesis, structure-activity relationship (SAR), and assay interpretation
2. Synthetic Chemistry Scientist
Req id: 59826 – Synthetic Chemistry Scientist
Qualifications: M.Sc. / PhD in Organic or Synthetic Chemistry
At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in multi-step synthesis, route scouting, and purification techniques
Exposure to CRO environments and scalable chemistry practices preferred
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute synthetic routes for novel compounds
Interpret analytical data and maintain accurate laboratory records
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including biologists and pharmacologists
Work on tight timelines with a strong emphasis on quality and productivity
Comply with safety, health, and environmental guidelines of Syngene
