Job Role & Responsibilities

As an Assistant – Quality Control, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing sampling and analysis of pharmaceutical and chemical products within specified turnaround times.
  • Conducting method development and validation using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR, IR, Titration, and CHNS analysis.
  • Ensuring first-time-right analysis and compliance with KPIs.
  • Handling retesting samples, data trending, and active participation in training programs.
  • Maintaining laboratory logbooks, registers, and QC documentation systems.
  • Preparing standards, stock solutions, and ensuring compliance with QMS (Quality Management System).
  • Investigating deviations and participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for continuous improvement.
  • Implementing Kaizens to reduce costs, enhance quality, and improve safety.
  • Communicating technical results effectively to supervisors, colleagues, and customers.

Eligibility / Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree (M.Sc Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, M.Pharm) or Ph.D. in related disciplines.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, or CRO industries.
  • Skills Required:
    • Proficiency in advanced analytical techniques (HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR, IR, Titration, CHNS analysis).
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Experience in method validation and regulatory compliance.
    • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
