Job Role & Responsibilities
As an Assistant – Quality Control, you will be responsible for:
- Performing sampling and analysis of pharmaceutical and chemical products within specified turnaround times.
- Conducting method development and validation using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR, IR, Titration, and CHNS analysis.
- Ensuring first-time-right analysis and compliance with KPIs.
- Handling retesting samples, data trending, and active participation in training programs.
- Maintaining laboratory logbooks, registers, and QC documentation systems.
- Preparing standards, stock solutions, and ensuring compliance with QMS (Quality Management System).
- Investigating deviations and participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for continuous improvement.
- Implementing Kaizens to reduce costs, enhance quality, and improve safety.
- Communicating technical results effectively to supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree (M.Sc Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, M.Pharm) or Ph.D. in related disciplines.
- Experience: 2–5 years in pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, or CRO industries.
- Skills Required:
- Proficiency in advanced analytical techniques (HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR, IR, Titration, CHNS analysis).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in method validation and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
