Job Role & Responsibilities

As part of the Biologics Production (Upstream & Downstream) team, selected candidates will:

• Ensure strict cGMP compliance across all unit operations, facilities, and documentation.
• Execute large-scale production activities for Biosimilar Drug Substances.
• Operate fermenters (5L, 100L, 1500L) and advanced protein purification systems such as Akta Prime, Akta Pure, Akta Pilot, and TFF.
• Prepare and review SOPs, MMDs, and regulatory compliance documents.
• Provide support during audits, inspections, troubleshooting, and technical investigations.
• Perform cell culture propagation (bacterial & mammalian), in-process testing, and cell bank analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, QA, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth operations.

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Pharm, or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, or related life sciences courses.
• Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in biologics upstream & downstream manufacturing.
• Skills & Knowledge:
  • Expertise in fermentation, protein purification, and biologics manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, regulatory standards, and biosimilar production processes.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, training team members, and audit preparedness.
