Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Safety & Pharmacovigilance Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training and support to contribute to key pharmacovigilance functions. Your responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and routing incoming case information.
• Recording and tracking Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
• Redacting sensitive patient information per ICH GCP and GVP guidelines.
• Assisting in literature screening, drug coding, MedDRA coding, and data management.
• Supporting narrative writing for safety cases.
• Assisting with expedited and periodic safety reporting per regulatory standards.
• Validating product records (xEVMPD) and managing duplicate ICSRs.
• Submitting relevant documents to Trial Master File (TMF) and Pharmacovigilance System Master File.
• Ensuring compliance with global drug safety regulations, SOPs, and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in audits.

This role is designed to train fresh graduates for career progression into pharmacovigilance project roles.

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Education (Required):
  • M.Pharm, Pharm.D, M.Sc + B.Pharm, BHMS, BDS, Ph.D. (Pharmacy).
  • Only 2025 passouts are eligible to apply.
  • Exceptional 2024 graduates with strong interest in pharmacovigilance may also be considered.
• Core Skills:
  • Strong healthcare/scientific knowledge.
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with pharmacovigilance safety databases.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with collaboration tools (Visio, Team Share, etc.).
